This policy describes how Rocket DAO (acting as Data Controller) collects and uses Your personal information when You use the website and the (the "Club", ROCKETDAO OU initiative for investors and startups, which aims to help in attracting investments) service ( the «Service»).

We are «Data Controller» of Your «Personal Data» for Service under the terms of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal Information ("Personal Data")

We collect the following information about You: full name, e-mail, social media profiles, phone number, information about Your investment deals, Your occupation, interests, short biography, Your investment focus, Your current country and city of living, profile picture, and all other optional profile information that You provide to Us, including information about Your future investments in startups within the Club.

We use the information We hold in several purposes:

  • Proper service functioning and personalizing of Your user experience. We show the information about You, that You put in Your user profile on the site and within interview (set of questions to understand an investment experience), to help find interesting people, make it possible to connect with them for further cooperation and joint investing;

  • Service research and development. We use the data We hold to develop, test and enhance our service, including surveys and researches, and testing of new functions.

  • Interaction and informing. We use the data We hold to address You our offers, provide Service and to inform You of any changes in our Service. Besides, We need that data to answer Your requests.

  • Marketing activity. We may use Your Personal Data such as, but not limited to, Your full name, position, professional activity, and place of work for the marketing activities of the Club.

Besides, We can use that data as required by applicable law, legal process or regulation.

We may process Your personal data for certain additional purposes with Your consent, and in these limited circumstances where Your consent is required for the processing of Your personal data then You have the right to withdraw Your consent to processing for such specific purposes.
